Sebenza is a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC), a social enterprise born out of a desire to address one of the core problems in South African society, namely unemployment. Our goal is to create a platform for disadvantaged women and girls to come together, share ideas and solutions not just with regard to income generation and related problem-solving, but also to social issues (gender-based violence, domestic violence, poverty), which deeply affect their communities. It is about giving them optimal opportunities to earn an income and become financially self-dependent.
